PERFORMANCE > EFFICIENCY The down-fired, counter flow design contributes significantly to the ability of the KN Series to produce very high efficiencies in a small footprint. Combustion efficiency at 100% input is ~88% and at minimum input (5:1 turndown) is ~98%.The design exploits favorable operating conditions. Thus, reduced energy input, lower outlet or inlet water temperature result in increased efficiency. 5:1 Continuous Turndown The KN Series will operate smoothly from full input down to 1/5 of input. It will maintain its combustion quality throughout its operating range. Hi-Efficiency - up to 98% Down fired counter flow extracts maximum efficiency at all operating conditions
